For Maithili's 40th birthday bash, we played as guests arrived as an acoustic duo, provided some musical accompaniment for some fabulous speeches and performances from guests, and then kept the dance floor full with our full live band! We provided DJ sets throughout and had our fabulous videographer to film all the fun. We can create a beautiful video set to music to keep forever
Working with our professional music videographer we can create something really special. A bespoke service, we record a song of your choice (see Recording for more info on the process) and combine it with footage that captures the special moments, live performance and atmosphere for a unique lasting memory of a great day.
We can only take on so many recording and video projects at a time, so please do get in touch to register your interest in this service. After a consultation to discuss the elements of the day you would like to focus on, you can leave the rest to us, leaving you to concentrate on making memories!
Planning the best day of your life is a big deal! And when someone asks us to play on their big day it is always an honour. In addition to our standard duo and band bookings that include 2 sets of live music for any event, we've got extra options designed specifically for weddings. We are often booked 1 to 2 years in advance for weddings, so please get in touch to check availability.

What do we need to provide for you to perform?
We are self-contained and bring everything we need to perform, however we will need electricity and a suitable performance space. If performing outside we will need to be under cover. Please refer to our technical specifications below for our power and spacial requirements:
Power Requirements: A minimum of 2x 240v power outlets
Spatial Requirements:1.5m x 2m (5ft x 6 ft) floor space 2m (7ft) vertical space (Must have cover from elements if outside)
Note: as a duo we can offer a portable PA that does not require mains power. Please let us know in advance if this would be appropriate.

We'll need parking nearby and load -n access at pre agreed times. If possible a small green room space is great and we always appreciate being included in catering plans.
How long do you need to set up?
We recommend an hour from arrival as a duo and an hour and a half for a band set up, including sound check time. We will require parking close to where we are performing, and if there are any access issues this could increase the set up time. Once we know your event timings and your venue information we can work out the best times to set up in advance.
What equipment is included?
We will provide everything we need to perform, as well as stage lighting. Our PA system is modular and can be adapted to suit a range of venue sizes, but if you are planning a larger event for 1000+ people, we will include in our quote extra sound crew and equipment. Please note that for safety and insurance reasons we do not allow use of our equipment by anyone other than band members.
Do you DJ?
We are happy to DJ through our sound equipment, or you can provide us with your ultimate DJ playlist for us to plug in! We are also happy to work with a separate DJ, and will liaise with them on staging and timings. If you have DJ playlist requests, we ask that you make these in advance so we can guarantee them on the night.
How much do you charge?
Our fees are based on line up and location. Our duo starts from £450, our acoustic band from £900 and our electric band from £1000 per gig. We add very reasonable travel costs from Basingstoke, Hampshire, and will include accommodation in our quote if it is required.
What's included in your fee?
We include up to 2 hours of live music in 2-3 sets for either a daytime or evening (6pm-12am) booking, DJ sets/background music, song requests from our repertoire, learning a first dance or special song request if it's not already in our repertoire, all band travel and equipment. Unfortunately we cannot learn entire set lists of new songs, as our performing and rehearsal schedule does not allow for this, and we pride ourselves on high-quality, rehearsed material. Extra sets, and later finishes or earlier starts can be added on subject to our schedule.

Are you insured?
Yes. Our Musicians Union membership includes extensive equipment insurance and Personal Liability Insurance. We will provide certification. We can also provide our latest PAT Testing certificate for our equipment as needed.
Can we see you live?
We'd love to see you at a gig! Most of our work comes from people who have seen us perform and word of mouth. Most of our performances are at private events, but we post any public dates on our Facebook page and gig calendar, and you can email us at firstname.lastname@example.org for more on upcoming gigs. If you aren't able to make it in person, do check out our videos on Instagram and YouTube where we regularly share live content.
